1345 – UK defence munitions: The crucial military/industry connector to support the mission
Defence Munitions has recently been incorporated into the Weapons Operating Centre and is part of Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S).  This presentation will outline the complexity of processing and storing of a large range of UK tri-service complex weapons and general munitions and will detail the importance of getting this process right in close cooperation with the maufacturer and user in order to sustain the Front Line Commands on operations.  The presentation will draw on lessons learned over the last 10 years and detail some of the future challenges.
